Heirloom chrysanthemums are the grand finale of the garden. Massive, melting blooms in a range of fiery and muted autumn hues that are a world away from the staid grocery store bunch. Most of our cut-flower chrysanthemums require staking and protection from cold (like planting in a protected outdoor space and giving them a good mulching or bringing them inside for the winter).
