About Us

Naked Flower is a small-scale (read: teeny tiny) specialty flower farm owned and operated by Norah Langweiler on the Jersey Shore since 2019. Naked Flowers tend to be big and ruffled (and sometimes a little old-fashioned). In the spring, that means specialty tulips, a rainbow of ranunculus, and over-the-top peonies. In the summer you’ll get natives like black-eyed susans mixed with colorful zinnias takeover. In the fall heirloom chrysanthemums blow out into ribbons of color.

Naked Flower Farm relies on time-tested sustainable growing techniques (and, a pretty hefty dose of experimentation) to run a low-input farm operation (meaning not many fertilizers or pesticides). We are working hard to turn our small plot it into a mini food forest. I'm curious to see how much food we can harvest on a bio-diverse property of native and non-opportunistic perennial edibles, pollinator plants, and (of course) showy cut flowers. We’re doing our best to leave the land better than we found it -- more productive and more beautiful.
